Türkiye’s e-export gateway: ShopiVerse

ShopiVerse, which facilitates e-exports, aims to become a unicorn

ShopiVerse, offering end-to-end e-export solutions, is about to complete its investment round

ShopiVerse, which offers end-to-end e-export solutions in Türkiye, has realized a major breakthrough in a short time. The platform, which facilitates cross-border e-commerce in twenty countries, has completed approximately 80 percent of the investment it targeted in the investment round with a valuation of 300 million lira. Aiming to become a unicorn in 2027, ShopiVerse also contributes to Türkiye’s e-export targets. ShopiVerse CEO Orxan Isayev explained the services and goals of the platform.

According to Statista, the global e-commerce volume is expected to reach 8 trillion dollars in 2027. In cross-border e-commerce, the market, which reached 1 trillion dollars in 2022, is expected to exceed 5 trillion dollars in 2027. In the dropshipping model called “dropshipping”, the market, which currently has a volume of 220 billion dollars, is expected to reach 476 billion dollars in 2027. According to the Ministry of Trade, the volume of e-exports in Türkiye is 2.5 billion dollars; however, according to the estimates of the actors in this market, it is estimated that there is an e-export volume of approximately 8 billion dollars. While the revenue per kilogram in traditional exports in Türkiye is 1 dollar, the revenue per kilogram in e-exports can reach up to 30-35 dollars. In some product groups, there can be an income of 150-200 dollars per kilogram.

The average basket size in cross-border e-commerce is also quite high. According to data from the World Factbook, the average basket in cross-border e-commerce in Europe is 109 euros, while the average basket in the United States is 120-130 dollars. Along with these data, economic crises around the world lead companies to work more efficiency-oriented. For this reason, cross-border e-commerce and platforms that offer various solutions in this field stand out against risks such as exchange rate fluctuations and inflation. ShopiVerse, the first and only platform offering end-to-end e-export solutions in Türkiye, is positioned as “Türkiye’s e-export gateway” in the e-export ecosystem, which has gained vital importance. The platform, which enables its customers to make millions of dollars in turnover, contributes to the development of Türkiye’s e-export. ShopiVerse CEO Orxan Isayev evaluated the solutions and services offered by the platform in e-export.

“ShopiVerse enables sales in dozens of countries from a single panel”

Orxan Isayev, CEO of ShopiVerse, stated that ShopiVerse is not an example in Türkiye; there are 7-8 similar platforms in the world. “There is no other platform in Türkiye that enables end-to-end management of the export process from warehouse to logistics, from payment to marketplaces from a single panel.” Isayev said, “The similar ones in the world are also very old and not very flexible. They have difficulty keeping up with trends, they are focused on specific issues.” Orxan Isayev said, “ShopiVerse brings together all stakeholders of the e-export ecosystem, eliminating all uncertainties and difficulties that brands may face. It provides process automation and increases efficiency. It answers the questions in the minds of all companies that will make e-exports, mentors them, guides them on this journey, supports them and enables them to sell products to global markets. It carries out the e-commerce process from a single panel and makes it reportable and transparent.”

“ShopiVerse has two services; to sell and to make sell”

Stating that ShopiVerse basically has two services, Isayev said: “We have two models we call selling and selling. In the selling model, we bring together all stakeholders of the e-export ecosystem. In other words, we manage processes such as logistics, payment, warehouse, e-commerce infrastructure and marketplaces from a single panel. E-commerce retailers can track and manage all their orders, marketplaces and websites from a single panel. We call the sales model ‘ShopiVerse Manifacture And Seller (SMS) Network Platform’. This platform is described as a kind of ‘closed circuit Alibaba’. On this platform, wholesalers can supply products at wholesale prices. Here products can be listed in the online store. On this platform, manufacturers or sellers can offer products to potential customers in different categories on a category basis. Sales from many channels like this, warehouses in different locations in different countries can be managed on a single panel.”

Isayev stated that the e-commerce model they call “dropshipping” is also called “dropshipping”, i.e. “dropshipping”, and added that this market has already reached a volume of 220 billion dollars; It is predicted to reach a volume of 476 billion dollars in 2027.

“Turkish companies have two problems; courage and marketing…”

Isayev said, “With ShopiVerse, sellers with a turnover of millions of dollars in the world meet with Türkiye’s e-commerce manufacturers and can very easily procure products and sell them abroad.” Isayev stated that e-commerce companies going abroad from Türkiye need to deal with some basic issues such as supplying, producing and marketing the product. ShopiVerse CEO, “There is no problem with production in Türkiye, all kinds of products are produced in Türkiye. Türkiye is the world leader in the automotive industry; there is production by Turkish companies in many areas such as baby wear, home textiles, decorative products, furniture, cosmetics, food. But there are two main problems: courage and marketing… Turkish companies hesitate to take a step. Therefore, ShopiVerse overcomes this fear and shares all its experience, network and supply network with manufacturers. At the same time, it automates the system in software, makes it efficient and provides mentoring.”

“It takes a long time to achieve success in global marketplaces”

Isayev said, “It takes a long time for a company from Türkiye to achieve success in global marketplaces. Why? Because you will list, you will give gifts, you will get comments, you will experience the market, you will see which products are selling or not selling, you will lose money and time. This takes a serious process. Therefore, ShopiVerse makes it easier for companies to open up to global markets by offering a similar distributorship model in traditional trade.” Orxan Isayev said, “With the Sattırmak model, manufacturers can open their products abroad on the online side, meet with sellers and best sellers specializing in online sales in a digital environment. We actually offer an online distributorship program. Therefore, ShopiVerse also undertakes the guarantor of the quality and regular progress of the process.”

“ShopiVerse investors’ shares will increase 6-7 times”

Orxan Isayev also gave information about the investment round the company launched 1.5 months ago: “In crowdfunding, we aim to collect an investment of 20 million liras, which corresponds to 5 percent of the market value. In the investment round, an investment of 15 million liras was collected in 1.5 months. We expect the remaining 5 million liras to be collected shortly. Thus, 300 million liras will have been invested over the valuation. ShopiVerse’s goal in crowdfunding is to reach the target audience and create brand ambassadors. For example; 20 million TL could have been collected with 2 investors, but ShopiVerse aimed to receive 2-3 thousand TL investment from 3 thousand people. In other words, ShopiVerse aims to reach more audiences with the power of the mass and grow rapidly with this audience.”

Isayev said, “ShopiVerse crowdfunded in 2023, aims for Series A in 2024 and Series B investment round in 2025. These series investments will further evaluate the company. For example; If an investment of approximately 750 thousand dollars is realized for 5 percent, next year there will be an investment of approximately 7-8 million dollars for 5 to 10 percent. Therefore, the shares of ShopiVerse investors will grow up to 6-7 times.” Isayev said, “We call on investors to become a partner in this investment round in which we aim to provide added value to the country’s economy.”
