Who is Mehmet Akif Birkan?
Mehmet Akif Birkan successfully completed his university education in 2012 at City of University New York (CUNY), one of the best schools in the country in New York City, United States of America. He worked in corporate companies in the USA for a while. He returned to Turkey after a short time after experiencing professional business life here. The knowledge/experience he gained in the USA and his native English helped him to take managerial positions in various corporate companies in Turkey. He was invited as a consultant to many valuable high-level projects for the benefit of his country. He still continues to work on various projects.
In 2015, he met with e-commerce. At that time, he wanted to trade in the marketplaces in Turkey and had some e-commerce initiatives. By 2018, he had met the global face of e-commerce. After this meeting, he started to learn global e-commerce from all sources due to the fact that both his international network is strong and his English is at the native language level, and then he made successful sales. He started to share the knowledge and experiences he learnt during this learning and sales process for free on Mehmet Akif Birkan Youtube channel with the understanding that ‘Everyone has the right to access the right information’ in a way that a beginner can easily understand.
Like other sellers doing e-commerce in America, after a while he had established an LLC company. Before establishing a LLC company, he had a serious difficulty in finding a training and consultancy company that he could consult and especially trust. He realised that setting up a company in the USA and managing the accounting and tax processes was difficult and tiring for other sellers as well as for himself and decided to develop a system that would make this process easier for sellers. Mehmet Akif Birkan established the Istanbul and New York-based MAB Consultancy company with an important decision he made in 2020 with the idea that ‘People can both learn how to do e-commerce abroad correctly and establish the company they need in America in a short time and reliably.’ Since 2020, with its expert and experienced consultant staff, it has provided and continues to provide professional services to more than 400 clients with 100% satisfaction.
